Kas sunsets.
These different views of the Turkey never seem to get old.
Stairway to a heavenly beach. The water is unreal.

Unscheduled Rest Day
First we say the lightening over the mountains and then the winds and finally the rain. It even hailed at times. We took a "very" leisurely breakfast. 2, 3, 4...cups of coffee. Whatever it takes. Rustem took time to inspect and tune up our bikes. He got tired of hearing the creaking of our headsets and bottom brackets.
Corey, Brian and Tom did get out for a 45 minute spin around the peninsula in-between rain spurts. Of course it started to rain just as we had attempted to leave the hotel on our bikes. So we did the only natural thing to be done in these parts....steer directly for some cay and Turkish coffee. The rain stopped shortly and we were again on our bikes and able to get all the way around the peninsula (11 Km).
We spent some time looking at a house that Rustem wants to buy for our Cycle Turkey tours. Forget the tours, I want to live there permanently. What an amazing home and view. We spend the remainder of the day going out to dinner. Tomorrow is an altered plan of some intense mountains. Corey and Paul got a map and found the highest point in this region of Turkey. Apparently, we are riding there tomorrow.
Sorry there are not many pictures from today. Here are 2 of our favorite spots. See you tomorrow.
