Rustem get reacquainted with yet another old friend as we were buying our fish.
Ah, Sun and Efes. A great finish.
A little friend joined us for some sun. He didn't drink beer (so he said).
Rustem's incredible red snapper dish.
Yes, the life of a cyclist....don't tell any body.
A photo we just couldn't resist. Climbing out of Kas.
Rustem is happy to see the sun and some blue sky again.

Day 8
Unpredictable weather again took control of our plans. We were in route to Kale (the town of the "original Santa Claus") for a 100 K ride including just a few mountain passes.
We had the initial 11K climb out of Kas. The heavy clouds were looming as they concealed the sun. At the top of the climb the rain started slightly and we just pedaled on. Another 30 minutes down the road and the rain was coming down heavy. It wouldn't have been too bad except the temperate dropped more than we expected. We were already wet and chilled with 80K to go. The steep descents are brutal on a dry day. In the rain my skin might just shiver off completely.
As the rain got heavier, we reluctantly turned around and headed home. The 11K descent was a bit chilly, but it wouldn't be long before we would arrive in Kas. The rain seemed to taper off the close we got.
It was not raining in Kas so we took a small loop down to the marina to look at the boats and then off to the fish market. I guess you could say we were inspired.
We picked up some red snapper and salad fixing's, but not without Rustem meeting up with a few long-time friends.
The sun was blazing when we got back to the hotel so we unanimously decided to sit on the balcony and have a beer in the sun. When the big rain clouds killed our tanning opportunity, Rustem went to work on the snapper. He prepared and incredible meal. Wow!
Not sure what we are going to do for the remainder of the day, but I'm sure we'll find something even if it's nothing at all.
