Flavonoids are a diverse group of phytonutrients found in many plants, including cannabis. In cannabis, flavonoids contribute to the plant’s color, flavor, and aroma, and also offer potential health benefits such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective effects. While there are over 6,000 known flavonoids across different plant species, cannabis contains a subset of these.
